17th Annual European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel Meeting (EPUAP), Stockholm, Sweden

It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the 17th Annual Meeting of the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP 2014), which will be held 27-29 August at Aula Magna, Stockholm, Sweden.

The overall theme of the conference is Pressure Ulcers from Birth to Death – Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation.

The programme will include key note lectures, free paper sessions, symposia, workshops and poster sessions. Pressure ulcers in children, young persons with neurological disorders and spinal cord injuries, in patients after surgery, in the elderly and in palliative care will be highlighted.

In addition, the newly updated International Pressure Ulcer Guidelines will be presented.

Stockholm, regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and often called “Venice of the North”, is strategically located on 14 islands on the coast of south-east Sweden. The city’s oldest part is Gamla Stan (Old Town), located on the original small islands of the city’s earliest settlements.

The venue is Aula Magna at the main Stockholm University campus, known as Frescati, which is situated north of the city centre. Stockholm University is easily accessible from Stockholm city centre, as well as from airports in the Stockholm region.
