Master Class

A master class on sound insulation in buildings is held in connection with BNAM 2018 by Jens Holger Rindel on Friday – Saturday, 13-14 April. The aim of the master class is to provide the participants with a deeper understanding within three main areas of building acoustics: the physics of airborne and impact sound transmission, the measurement methods and uncertainty, and subjective evaluation of sound insulation. The focus will be on multistory dwellings with emphasis on low frequencies. Some time is devoted to discussion of the participants’ own cases.
