Eyjafjörður coast line, Siglufjörður & Skagafjörður, August 19, 2014

We travel by one of Iceland´s most beautiful coastline and will enjoy some unique view towards the North Atlantic.
We will drive north of Akureyri, and follow the Eyjafjörður coast line, passing small towns, Dalvík, Ólafsfjörður and Siglufjörður, where we will have lunch.
Siglufjörður is best known as the "Herring town" and we will visit the Icelandic Herring museum.
From Siglufjörður you will drive over to Skagafjörður, and visiting old turf farmhouse Glaumbær, where you can find old houses made from turf and stone. The houses date from different periods in the 18th and 19th century.
